DIAMONDS OF VALENCIA

Port Saplaya is the name of a coastal residential area, in the municipality of Alboraya, in the province of Valencia. It is known for its beaches and for its peculiar urbanism, which has earned it the tourist nickname of "Little Venice". The colorful houses can only be approached from one direction as there is no bridge over the bay. The charm of the place is enchanting, I think it is interesting to see it during a day and when the sun goes down.

The other great bay that I would like to introduce is Puerto De Catarroja.

An area close to trees, vegetation and water where the people can boat. It is surrounded by the port of Catarroja, a branch of the canal to Albufera. A place where we could break away from the city and relax while being close to nature. The boats were a bit monotonous and colorless for me, but they are in harmony with the nature, so I still recommend to visit it. The city can be reached in less than 15 minutes by train and then the port is half an hour on foot. On the way back, we took part in the first hitchhiking of our lives because of the unexpected rain. Luckily a very nice young woman took us to the train station.
