We began our journey through this charming place, stopping
in front of a magical monument: the Bell Tower, located in the heart of the
town. Its almost 60 meters high are erected.Next to it is the Church of San
Juan Bautista, a wonderful example of Valencian baroque art.
After that, we target the other landmark of the city. The
other jewel to visit is the Castillo de Xivert, located at the top of the
Sierra de Irta. Its dominates the entire landscape and guards the town and its
surroundings.
Of course, again, we did not choose the easier route, but the shortest as the crow flies through the mandarin lands and then through the forest. To our surprise, we also meet a herd of deer in the bush next to us. We did not know who was more frightened. The wind was very intense in the castle, it even flew my only sandwich, which I then chased. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay there long because the weather changed very quickly. So even though we bought our ticket to the nearby town of Peniscola, unfortunately we had to cancel to go there as well. However, the rest of the evening still went well, with filming and mulled wine.
