I met a lot of Poles at university and maybe we can say that we have already become friends. If we take the saying literally: two brothers from Poland and Hungary, both of them are same in terms of their saberes and the glasses. That’s why we also raised our glasses as part of a joint dinner night. We, Hungarians, of course, took our ,,fencing-breaking" traditional pálinka from home to raise the mood. According to the plan, we would have prepared three different dishes as three Hungarians, just like somlóigaluska, paprikáskrumpli and, by me the lángos. Two of them were made, but because of the alcohol rapidly disappeared from the table, it prevented the completion of the third dish. Also with my lángos had some problems because we couldn’t find yeast in the store so I had to make with a baking powder. I don't recommend to anyone, it became something completely different in the end, but it still ran out.
On the other hand, we were lucky enough to try Pierogi, which is a Polish stuffed pasta.
(Ingredients for dough: -flour-butter-water-eggs,
and for the filling: -cheese-potatoes-onion-salt -pepper.)
We also tried to fill the dough with the filling and shape it with less or more success.
