What is the Open House Worldwide?
Open House Worldwide is a growing international network of some 46 Open House organizations around the world. A platform that promotes culture and whose support allows all its members to collaborate beyond their borders, sharing knowledge, experiences and technology.
The Open House Valencia -OHV- festival is a privileged event in the city with its most precious architecture. Many buildings open their doors, exhibiting their functional, typological and formal uniqueness. That's why we decided to take part in a tour of one of the buildings. Estudio Sanahuja & Partners has announced two dates for tour and viewing. Since we had somehow boarded the subway in the opposite direction, we only got there at a later date. Of course, we pretended that we were on the right time so there was no problem. In the end, we were even offered an ice cream.

Sanahuja & partners is an architecture studio with origins in the Spanish Mediterranean, located in the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands. It offers customized integral design and architecture services, seeking quality and excellence from a wide professional trajectory.
The opening of the headquarters in Valencia offers the opportunity to rethink the traditional architecture studio, opening it towards an interdisciplinary model. The space chosen for this is a basement located in the central neighborhood of Ruzafa, one of the most culturally and artistically active areas of the city. This is why Hat Gallery was born, a multipurpose exhibition space that is located at the entrance to the studio and supports the daily work of the office. It has served as the setting for exhibitions, performances, screenings and workshops that revolve around architecture and design, and their relationship with art in general.
