Benidorm is a seaside resort on the Costa Blanca in the province of
Alicante. We went to the city by a separate bus, which I think most of
us were sleeping through all the time because of the early departure.
Tree-lined wide avenues give a feeling of space, and there are over a
thousand places to eat and drink and watch the town in full swing, which
after a strong local coffee, we also looked at.
After the free
program we got on the bus again and headed for Las Fuentes del Algar.
This beautiful natural area has been declared a protected zone by the
Valencian Government Agreement .
They are a set of waterfalls that
are connected by water channels, forming natural pools with crystalline
waters where we could enjoy a bath. It is located 15 km away from
Benidorm.
We enjoyed the 1.5 km long walk along the river and
discovered all pools and waterfalls, admired the views and appreciated
the ecological wealth of the place. The water was freezing cold but
since the sun was very sunny we could even enjoy it. It would have been
even more pleasant for me if there weren’t as many people as in any
tourist places, so this is why so important to find A SPOT where maybe
there isn’t that much crowd, just like we did it.
( Look how happy I was in the picture with the seagull. 😀)
Love this title :D
